H.S.(sic) Flickinger has moved in with his daughter, Mrs. Bertha Rogers, of district 100. from the Topeka Daily Capital, Monday, June 14, 1920: HARVEY FLICKINGER DIES Was Veteran of Civil War and Pioneer Farmer Harvey L. Flickinger, 77, an old resident of Dover, died at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Rogers, fiver miles north of Dover, from an attack of heart disease. Mr. Flickinger came to Kansas from Hardin county, Ohio, in 1879, and settled on a farm near Dover. He continued to farm until fifteen years ago when he retired. He was a veteran of the Civil war and a member of the Dover Masonic lodge for forty years. Mr. Flickinger is survived by a son, W.L. Flickinger of Seabrook; and four daughters, Mrs. W.M. Lyttle of Topeka; Mrs. Paul Lyttle, Mrs J.M. Tomson and Mrs. John Rogers, all of Dover. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Rogers home. Burial in Dover cemetery.
