Dover --- Nina Flickinger goes to Topeka this week to attend business college.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Dover Federated Church here for Mrs. Nina Tomson, 88, Dover, who died Wednesday in Ft. Collins, Colo.
She was born May 14, 1885, in Dover and lived most of her life here.
She was a charter member of Dover "Nina" Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, which was named after her. She was past grand noble matron of Rebekah Lodge and a member of the Pansy Club, both of Dover.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Tomson, Ft. Collins, Colo., and T.K. "Kile" Tomson, Markham, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Newton, Boulder, Colo., and Mrs. Blanche Fillmore, Antorio, Ore.; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Lytle, Topeka; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Dover Cemetery.
Austin Funeral Home, Eskridge, is in charge of arrangements.

Nina Tomson, daughter of Harvey and Evelyn Carter Flickinger, was born May 14, 1885 at Dover, Kansas and passed away at Ft. Collins, Colorado, April 3, 1974 at the age of 88 years, 10 months, and 19 days. Most of her life was spent in the Dover community.
She was a charter member of Nina Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star; a member of the Rebecca Lodge, Past Noble Grand and Pansy Club.
She was married to Joseph M. Tomson on March 19, 1908. He preceded her in death on January 25, 1966.
Mrs. Tomson is survived by two sons, T.K. Kyle Tomson, of Markham, Illinois and Charles Tomson of Ft. Collins, Colorado; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Newton, of Boulder, Colorado and Mrs. Blanche Fillmore, of Ontario, Oregon; one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Lytle, of Topeka; nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, and a number of other relatives and friends.
Rev. Joe Perrigo conducted the funeral service at the Dover, Kansas, Federated Church Saturday afternoon, April 6. Mrs. Opal Lambotte, organist, accompanied the soloist, Phil Kissling, who sang, "In The Garden" and "Old Rugged Cross."
The casket bearers were Dwight Copeland, Vincent Dudney, Maurice Gleason, John Bickel, Warner Rogers and Neil Crow. Nina Chapter Order of Eastern Star conducted the Eastern Star service at the grave side. Interment was in the Dover Cemetery, Austin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
