 Lucy Ann Gough
Lucy Ann Flannagan was born in Hamilton county, Ohio, February 16, 1836, and departed this life at Beverly, Kansas, June 27, 1914 after an illness of nearly five months. She was united in marriage to C. Gough of Schuyler county, Ill., April 7, 1861. To this union were born seven sons and six daughters as follows: C.W. Gough, Centralia, Illinois; J.W.Gough, Frankfort, Kansas; T.M.Gough, Chico, California; B.F.Gough, Beverly, Kansas; R.C.Gough, Frankfort, Kansas; Mrs. N.V.Hunt, Beverly, Kansas; Amy M. Hildreth, Denver, Colorado; Sadie M.Macy, La Plater, N. Mexico.
Mrs. Gough came with her husband to Beverly, Kansas from Denver, Colo., in April 1901, and has resided here since. For eighteen years she had been a faithful member and willing worker in the W.R.C., always doing willingly anything that she was able to do that order or any of its members. She was also a member of "The American Home and Flag and Betsy Ross Memorial Association."
The W.K.C. funeral services were held at the home, after which she was laid to rest in the Beverly cemetery.
Ripened in years, and fully prepared for another state of existence, she passes now to enjoy the reward of a life well spent on earth.
 CARD OF THANKS
We hereby present our sincere thanks to all who so kindly assisted us during the sickness of our dear wife and mother with their untiring efforts and also to all that furnished such beautiful flowers. Hoping in the future they in turn will receive their reward.
