Notes
a. Note:   from the Frankfort daily Index, Tuesday, Jan. 6, 1920, page 8:
Charles Gough returned Sunday from a couple of weeks' visit with relatives at Huron, Kansas.
from the Frankfort Daily Index, May 3, 1922, page 1:
 Mosher -- Gough
Miss Effie Mosher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Mosher of Barrett, and Charles Gough, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Gough of Frankfort, drove to Marysville yesterday, and at 2 0'clock, were united in marriage by Probate Judge W.W. Potter at his office in the court house. The happy couple were accompanied by Miss Josephine Mosher, the bride's sister.
The young couple are well and favorably known in this locality. The bride is a capable young lady with many admirable qualities and the groom is a hard working young farmer, and both have the esteem of everyone. They will make their home on the old Foster farm, northwest of Frankfort, and the Index extends hearty congratulations.
from the Yates Center News, July 23, 1964, page 5:
 Around Toronto Dam
Maurice Sele and Fred Kline helped Charlie Gough with law Saturday night. Mr. Gough hadn't slept much for several nights. Everything went fairly well for that size crowd. (Transcriber's note: the column from Toronto talked about boat races and carnival rides at the lake.)
