He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Audrey, two children, Gerard (Nancy) Jendraszkiewicz of Medaryville, IN and Karen (David) Fritts of Valparaiso, IN; two beloved grandsons, Joshua and Carson Fritts; two brothers, Eugene Jendraszkiewicz of Coloma, MI and Fred (Jeanne) Jendra of Orland Park, IL; sister, Carol (Terrance) Cassidy of Chicago, IL; brother-in-law, Edwin (late Ray) Lopacki of CA; and sister-in-law, Phyllis (late Richard) Serafin of Chicago; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and dear friends. Preceded in death by his son, Leo III and his parents. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. from the Lincoln Ridge Funeral Home, 7607 W. Lincoln Highway, Schererville, IN (Rt. 30 east of Cline Avenue) with 10:00 a.m. mass at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church in Merrillville with Rev. Joseph Vamos officiating. At rest, Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-9 p.m. Wake prayer service Monday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. Leo was a member of the Our Lady of Consolation Church; a retired employee USX South Works as general foreman #4 electric with 38 years of service. He was also an amateur radio operator for 53 years "N9QX".
