Perkins late Harlow and the same claimed by the parties of the lst part as heirs of said Mary S. Perkins and bounded as follows: To wit - Beginning at 2 Black Walnuts at the North of a lane. Thence with the frogged line N 87 W 133 1/2 poles .......near 12 a .....thins s 67 ..E 103 ...is a large oak ..near a tobaco house thence 23 3/8 W 55 poles to where a road crosses a small branch near Cunninghams Stable thence n 7 E 21 poles at a stake in the original line thence along the same S 61 1/4 W 28 poles to the Beginning containing 125 acres more or less - To have and to hold the said tract of land with all the appertenances unto the said part of the second part his heirs and assigns forever and it is further agreed and understood that the part of the second part is not to be in any way held bound or responsible for any rent for said land a account of his having occupied the same premises to his purchase - and the said William Harlow for himself and as the agent and attorney in fact, for the parties above named covenants to warrant and defend the right & title to the land hereby conveyed generally. Cunningham Defendants the parties in the above action appeared by their attorneys, and this action came on for trial, on the pleadings and exhibits in the cause, the plaintiff with the leave of the court having first withdrawn his amended petition filed herein at a former term of this court, and the defendant having failed to answer, it is adjudged by the Courts, that the ........ the profession of 100 acres of land, described in the Petition on Little Barren River, where the said defendant now lives, near Gooches hill Green County and adjoining the lands of Edw. Sandidge, being the same land on which Wm. Perkins and wife lived and died, and that the Plantiffs judgement for their costs herein as apended. (Copied from the hand written original) This indenture, made this 14th day of June, 1811, between John Robertson and Sally his wife of the County of Barren and the State of Kentucky of the one part and Randal Harlow of the County and State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty Pounds to said Robertson in hand paid and the receipt whereof is hereby acknow- ledged hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain to sell unto said Harlow a certain tract of Parcel of land situate lying and being in the county of Barren and adjoining the Blue Spring Grove and bounded as follows(to wit) Beginning at a hickory and black oak original corner of his land right thence with a line therof S 88 W158 poles to two Elms in McClungs military line thence with the same N 5 W36 poles to his corner a White Oak and Hickory thence with another of McClungs line N 27 W 140 poles to a hickory stump in Henry Cook's field and on the line of 5(deg) Headright thence with said line N 66 E55 poles to three post oaks thence S 66 E 120 poles to a stake thence S24 E130 poles to the Beginning containing one hundred and fifty nine acres with its appur- tenances to have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the only proper use in behoof of the said Harlow and his heirs forever and the said John Robertson and Sally his wife doth hereby covenant and agree that they will forever warrant and deffend the afoesaid tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said Harlow and his heirs from claim of the claimants of the said Robertson and Sally his wife and their heirs and all and every person or persons whatsoever. Ordered that the following parts of Hart County be laid off into a road precinct Towit Beginning at the County line below Bear Wallow from thence to David Aliens, including him, thence including John Ewel, thence including Thomas Burks, George Hardy, David Garvin, thence a course so as to exclude James Clymer, thence including Alexander McCandless, to the Har County line, thence to the beginning & that Randol Hartow be appointed overseer of said precino & that all the hands residing in said boundry be allotted him to keep the same in repair as required by law. p. 99: Page 289 Robert S.
