  In the 1870 census William age 7 was living in Ivy, Buncombe County, NC with brother John J., 17, sister Crinoline and brother Bennie. Father Madison was an MD with land worth 4,500 and personal property worth 10,000. He was 58 and Isabella was 41.
  In the 1880 census William age 17 was living in Ivy, Buncombe County, NC with brother Judson/John J. Greenwood and wife Mary.
  In the 1900 census they were living in Ivy, Buncombe County, NC. He was a farmer. Samuel J. 15, Mary 9, Roy 6, Henry and Henley 4 and baby Lola b. in 1900. Living "next door" was a John Greenwood 10 years older wife Mary and children. I think he may have been a brother.
  Found in the 1910 census living in Lake Precinct, Douglas County, WA with children listed except for Florence. Age 44, wheat farmer and Sarah was 36. He was born in NC
