Note: tiions officer. Somewhere around the time of Ethels birth they moved to Gladwin Clare Co Michigan and remained in Michigan until his death in Genesee County. Ethels death cert says she was born in Clare Co Michigan but it was previously believed she was also born in Kent. There is an Ethel C born to Jane Hamilton living in the home of Jane Hall in Cross Kent. This Jane was not married and born in Radnoshire Wales according to census but I found our Sarah Jane was married to Peter in Madoc Ontario long before Ethels birth. Further research is needed to clarify where exactly our Ethel was born as it appears to be two separate Ethels and no question her parents were married as the records are availble online in Ontario.
