Notes
a. Note:   George (Wojtek) Gardynik
If your ancestor was baptized or
called Wojciech or Wojtek in Polish, he was *automatically* known as Albert
or George in English (or the nickname versions of those two names). Keep in
mind that many, many immigrants and descendants of immigrants used names in
English which literally had NOTHING to do with their names in Polish.
George (Wojtek) Gardynik had three brothers,Mathew,Sylvestor and Stebernk .He also had five sisters, names unknown.
Our great grandfather married a woman whose surname was Chodorek (pronounced Hodoorek). Ignatius marriage certificate said that his fathers name was George but I'm guessing that Ignatius (Ignatz) may have put this down as the English version of his fathers name on an American marriage certificate. Anyway his first name in Polish was Wojtek. Most of the children you have mentioned match those of my dad's recollection of his uncles and aunties, however he believes that Benedict was the fourth son of George (Wyotech) Gardynik not Michael. The discrepancies may be due to Polish-English translations or perhaps someone has it wrong somewhere. But I'll leave that to you to see if you can find that out.
George(Wojtek)and his wife had eight children, four boys and four girls. The boys were Ignatius (Ignatz), Peter (Piotr), Benedict and John (Jan). The four girls were Maria, Jozefa (Josephina) Katherine and Patricia (Piotra).
All the children were born in Nowy Nieskurzow in what is now Poland, however was part of Russia at the time in the late 19th century. I can not tell you the exact years they were born but Dad says that Ignatius was born around 1885 as you said. Peter was older and so may have been born about 1880 as you have mentioned.
  Info from George Brodawka.
 Melbourn,Australia
 Grandson of Jozefa Gardynik.
