On the 1920 MN Census for Staples I found Earl Marshall age 21 and his brother, Thurlow Eugene age 18 listed as stepsons both living with Dorotha age 43 b. in PA and her husband, Paul Birholz age 36, born in Berlin, Germany. In 1930 Thurlow was still living with them, but Earl is no longer listed.
