Note: In the 1930 ND census we found Arthur McGinne age 27 married for one year and Beatrice Mc Ginne 25 living in Fargo, Cass Co. ND. Arthur was listed as a commercial trader in the tobacco industry. Joanne Mc Ginn was born in Fargo, North Dakota June 26, 1934. Her father was Arthur McGinn.
His parents were Arthur Joseph and Laura Anna McGinn.
Grandma Laura McGinn�s father was Edward Cassidy. The Cassidy's had six children.
They lived near Ghent, MN and then moved near Minneota, MN.
Laura attended grade school in Minneota and High School at Marshall, MN.
She taught two terms in a rural school - Beaver Falls and Wabasso, MN.
She married Arthur McGinn in 1900. They lived in Minneota until 1924. She took a course in beauty culture in Minneapolis and then they moved to Aitkin where she had a beauty shop for many years Her husband ran the creamery.

Mrs. Arthur McGinn (Laura Cassidy) was born Oct 13 1883 on a farm near Ghent, MN the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Edward Cassidy � the eldest of six children.
The family later moved near Minneota, MN where she attended grade school and later took high school at Marshall, MN. She taught two terms in a rural school: Beaver Falls and Wabasso, MN.
In 1900 she married Arthur McGinn and they made their home in Minneota, MN, residing there till 1924. She took a course in Beauty Culture in Mpls. And they moved to Aitkin where s\she had a beauty shop for many years. Mr. McGinn preceded her in death.
She is survived by one granddaughter, Joanne McGinn of Sioux Falls, SD, now Mrs. David Johnson. She is survived by one brother and several sisters and several nieces and nephews.
