Notes
a. Note:   When John Gabriel Jones was only 4 yrs old the family moved to Level Cross, NC. John G. was 9 when his mother became ill. He married in 1845 to Maletha Davis and had 12 children. In 1882 the baby daughter, Elizabeth Jones, wed JB Jackson in the home of the bride. The home was in MG Harbor. The 2nd wife of John G. Jones was Nancy Lawerence who died in 1919, and even though John G. was buried by Maletha, Nancy was placed on the other side of him, so wrote Janelle Mickey.
