Stanberry was the boyhood home of my Dad and his five brothers. Daddy was born at Waupun, Wisconsin, in southern Wisconsin. They moved from there to southern Minnesota and from there to Stanberry, Missouri, when Daddy was about five. Mother was born and raised within less than a mile of the Smith place.
