Note: He was a local politican in Oregon Co.as a County Collector and also a Deputy Sheriff of Ripley Co. for over 15 years. He was a born again Christian and belonged to the Baptist church as did his wife. I believe he belonged to the same Baptist church as Mrs. James Sconce, Alton. He is buried at Oak Ridge and his funeral services were at the Baptist church.
