Note: Obituary: Anderson Newspapers, June 18, 1977 Charles Landes Charles W. Landes, 77, of 815 Alexandria Ave., died at St. John's Hospital after being stricken at his home Friday. He was a lifelong resident of Anderson and had retired in 1968 from Delco-Remy Model Shop after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. He is survived by his wife, Della; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Ruth) Baxter of Fort Wayne; three sons, Charles of Anderson, and Philip and Donald both of Chesterfield; two sisters, Mrs. Paul (Gladys) Enright, Arcadia, and Dora E. Landes of Anderson; three brothers, Herman, Marion and Kenneth, all of Anderson and other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the West Cross Street Alliance Church of the Christian and Missionary Alliance by the Rev. John K. Chapman. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Harold E.
