( Kaye in Peterborough; Johnson in P.E.I. ) ********* Services were held at Murray Harbour North Presbyterian Church, 11:00 AM. Conducting the service was Rev. Mr. Currie. Mum and I, Gloria and my Grandparents, Archie and Jean Hamilton, left for Peterborough shortly after the service was over (approximately 1:00 PM. ) Dad died at work, Raybestos Manhatten Plant #1, in the nurse's office. At the time dad's co-workers did not realize the seriouness of his condition and express regrets that they did not look in to check to see how he was. September 7, 1996 Early in 1949 to November, 1950 Mum and I where in Scotland living with Mum's parents, Archibald and Jean Hamilton in Glasgow. Mum had left Dad and did not tell him where we were going, and was during this period of time that Dad had a relationship with Harriet Gallant and fathered a child which they named Eldon Gallant. Harriet and Eldon are currently living in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. I first learned of Eldon Gallant being my half brother on August 26, 1996 from Esther Jackson ( nee Llewellyn ). Esther is my father's yougest sister. Esther was able to share additional insight with me about Harriet and Eldon. I am not aware of why mun did not tell me of this! All this information came to light during our trip to P.E.I. to do Genealogy reasearch. At this time, I see no reason, nor do I have any desire to contact Eldon or his mother, Harriet. I am going to follow the philosophy of, leave things alone!
