Note: Alex Lamb was born in Fairmont, Robeson County, in the state of North Carolina. He was born on May 3, 1906 to the parents of Marion Lamb and Ollie Britt Lamb. He spent the most of his life in Robeson County. He married Ethel Stephens on November 15, 1925 in Dillion, South Carolina at the Dillion Court House. They had six children, all born in Robeson County. In 1952 Alex and his wife moved to Virgina where they lived until there deaths. They are burried in Lumberton, North
Carolina at the New Hollywood Cem.
