The death notice for Jennie Menzies was very brief.The Tuesday, August 28, 1893 Duluth
Herald listed births and deaths in one paragraph.
The following sentence described Jennie's death:
Jennie E. Menzies, aged 30 years, 1726 New Street, consumption of the lungs.
I searched the internet for Duluth Cemeteries and
after several phone calls I discovered that a Jennie Menzies is buried in Forest Hill
Cemetery, Duluth, Minnesota, Also buried in the same plot is a Marie Menzies 4 months old,
child of D Menzies. On May 26th, 1904, both Jennie and Marie were moved to a different
Plot, owned by a Thomas H. Miller
