  Miss Mary LAING
  The death occurred last night following a short illness of Miss. Mary Laing in the Anson House, Peterborough. The deceased was born in Ontario 87 years ago, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William Laing. She was a member of the Murray Street Baptist Church here and had many friends.
  The deceased is survived by two brohters, Robert of Toronto, Ebenezer of Norwood and five sisters, Mrs. James Holmes of North Dakota, Mrs. Robert Campbell of Winnipeg, Mrs. Emil Stevens of Peterborough, Mrs. Emil Stevens of Lakefield and Mrs. George Johnson of this city. The funeral will be held Monday the 10th of October, at 2:30 pm from Comstock's Funeral Parlour, 305 Water Street to Little Lake Cemetery, the Rev. J. A. Sutcliffe, officiating.
