Note: In 1874 at Father Chevalier's Invitation, Joseph R. Lafricain came from Marlboro, MA to New Hampshire to help organize the "Fanfare Canadienne" Band and to be the leader of the musical group. There were 27 members in the Fanfare often called the French Military Band. Father Chevalier's Band composed of French Textile workers and Joseph R. Lafricain played the clarinet.
