a. Note:   d back to Newfoundland in about 1910 to care for his aging mother Bridget Quinlan Fleming. According to the Census reports there was only two children naturalized from the USA in 1910. These include Beatrice and Lawrence. These children both died of "epilepsy". I can't find any record of a third child.

 According Fred Fleming Sr. his father (John) emigrated to Boston with some of his sisters (five). He met Elizabeth Fardy in Boston. They were married there and had three children in Boston. They moved back to Newfoundland in about 1910 to care for his aging mother Bridget Quinlan Fleming. According to the Census reports there was only two children naturalized from the USA in 1910. These include Beatrice and Lawrence. These children both died of "epilepsy". I can't find any record of a third child.
