Note: Samuel is listed as filing the first land patent in Wright County, Minnesota. He filed on 10 June 1856. He filed on Sections 10 and 20 in Monticello Twp (Twp # 121 Range 24). He seemed to have died between 1870, Monticello Census, Wright County, and the 1880 census per Oak Grove, Anoka County, census (His wife was on that one, but not Samuel) Residences: Vermont, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota Census Records: 1860, 1865, and 1870 from Monticello, Wright County,, Minnesota. Occupations: Farmer per 1860 census, Monticello, Wright County,, Minnesota Farmer per booklet written by George Gray. '1867 - S.W. Fuller was a farmer - 4 miles SE on River Rd 9. From Book 'History of Wright County,, Minnesota. vol 1 1915' the following information was found. Chapter X 'Land Office Records' In it are transcripts from the land office records giving the original owners of all the land pre-empted and homesteaded in Wright county. It states "This is the roll of honor of those who dared the rigors of a pioneer country and started the first developments." Samuel W. Fuller is listed in Township 121, Range 24, Fractional Township (Monticello). It states in 1856 Samuel W. Fuller claimed parcel 19 on June 10 and parcel 20 on June 10.
