In 1880 he lists they were born in New York. His parents seem to disagree stating they were born in Vermont!!) * 1880 census - Oak Grove, Anoka County,, Minnesota. Eben (Ebbin E Fuller) was 36 years old, listed as 'farmer'. He was born in Illinois and had listed his parents as being born in New York. This is probably not correct. On earlier census records of Samuel W. Fuller, it is listed that Samuel was born in Vermont. Also, on the same census sheet, one family down, his sister, Eliza STOWELL lists her mother being born in Vermont. Also their mother, Mary A FULLER who is living with Eliza, states she was born in Vermont. Living with him is his wife, Mary S. (28 years old) listed as 'keeping house'. She was born in New York as were her parents. Also living in the home were Mabell, their daughter age 7 years and sons James E. (5 years) and Sam C. (age 3). All children born in Minnesota. James had a broken leg at time of census. Ebbin E. Fuller White Male 36 Farmer b. Illinois Father b. New York Mother b. New York Mary S. White Female 28 years Keeping House b. New York Father b.
