*The leading possibility for the 1850 census location is Clear Creek Twp., Allen Co., Indiana. This could very easily be a path from Ohio, ultimately to Logansport, Indiana area. The father is born in Pennsylvania, the mother born in Ohio, which fit Sarah's parent's nativity as indicated by her in censuses starting in 1900. The age of the Sarah fits exactly with her birthdate. It appears that Sarah's middle initial is an "E", which is problematic. This could be an "A" as well. This census and family is speculation that needs further verification.
From the 1900 census, Sarah lists what appears to be 2 (or 3) living out of 3 children born to her. She is listed (erroneously) as "mother in law" to James Ladow in 1910 census. It appears that the "in law" part has a line through it, with the word "of" written above.
