Page: She is found on the 1880 Wisconsin census with her daughter and family. She is listed as single, but it is written as Mrs. DELAP. They are in Waupaca County, north and east of Adams County where Cornelia and the daughter and your Ambrose and Rev. Ambrose were in 1870. There is a marriage record for your Ambrose in Adams County, but I have not found one for the daughter. There was a Wisconsin 1875 state census, but it only lists numbers of males and females in each household. it is not a whole lot of help. I can find an A.C. DELAP in Adams County in 1875, but I think it is your Ambrose and Ada ,as they were married by then. I can not find any other A.C. or Ambrose DELAP in Adams or Vernon. I have not searched Waupaca County.

Page: Cornelia Ruth Andros m. 2. Rev. Joshua Andrus after 1872. If Rev. Ambrose died 1893/94 and Cornelia was married a second time and died in 1893, were Ambrose and Cornelia Divorced? Likely Ambrose died after 1872, and Cornelia could have remarried, but why does her death certificate list her as "Delap" instead of Andrus? I've seen the actual death certificate in Sauk Co.It's very confusing. I'm going to look at the state copy( will go in March) and see if it is any less confusing.
