Note: Obituary (Napa Register) Veteran is Death Victim Albert Murbach Passes Away Early Yesterday Albert Murbach, a prominent member of the Veterans Home, was taken by death at the institution at four o'clock yesterday morning, following an illness of coniderable duration. He was a veteran of the Spanish American War. Deceased is survived by his widow, Sophie, a daughter, Aida, and a son, Albert. The remains are now at the Webber Funeral Parlors in this city. Funeral services will be held at the Veterans Home chapel, Monday afternoon, at 1:30 o'clock. Following the services, the remains will be taken to Oakland for cremation. (Follow up story, no date): Military Funeral Is Given Veteran Full military rites were accorded the late Albert Murbach, veteran of the Spanish Americn War, when his funeral was conducted Wednesday from the chapel of the Veterans' Home. Chaplain Burton officiated and the service was followed by cremation in Oakland. Webber Funeral Parlors of Napa had charge. The rites were attended by a large number of veterans an friends of the deceased. His death occurred Friday at the Home.
