Note: napanews.com Lenore L. Rawle Wednesday, August 15, 2001 Napa Lenore L. Rawle, 92, passed away August 14, 2001, in Vallejo. She was born October 9, 1908, in Napa and his lived here ever since. Lenore was proud to be a member of a Pioneer Napa Family, dating back to 1866. She loved dancing and listening to music. She enjoyed the family reunions which were held on her birthday every 5 years. She also was a longtime 49ers fan. Lenore was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, St. Apollinaris Catholic Church, Past President and life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies' Auxillary, The Fraternal Order of Eagles an Pocahontas (The Ladies Group of The Redmen). Lenore is survived by a daughter, Norene Boyer of Honolulu, Hawaii; two sons, Ed Rogers and Ron Rogers of Napa, four grandchildren Michele Boyer of Los Angeles, Ron Boyer of Los Osos, Perry Rogers of San Ramon, and Steven Rogers of Sacramento; one brother, Ed Arata and his wife Sybil of Napa; Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was proceded in death by her late husbands, Edward Rogers and Nelson Rawle; three brothers, Leslie Knudsen, Willie Arata and Louis Arata; and three sisters, Belle Martinelli, Emma Douglas and June Gaudino. Friends are invited to a Funeral Liturgy Service at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 17, 2001, at the Chapel of Richard Pierce Funeral Service, 1660 Silverado Trail, Napa, with Father Tim O'Sullivan, officiating. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2001 at the mortuary. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2001. Interment will be at Tulocay Cemetery, Napa. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
