Notes
a. Note:   [Wallander2.FTW]
I have found nothing to date (8/29/2002) that Andrew Nelson and Matty Anderson immigrated to the United States with, before or after Swan's migration between 1862 and 1864. However, Andrew could have been age 55 in 1862 and Matty age 53 (they also could have been 65-75) and thus able to make such a hard trip.
However, the fact that Swan had anglicized his parents' names in his marriage license (Andrew Nelson instead of Andrew Nelsson, and Matty Anderson instead of Matty Andersdotter) could lend some credence to their being in America. However, the county clerk may have refused to use Swedish Patrynomics.[LLA&HIA.FTW]
