Was working at a nursery on the north end of town when he met Ruby. She was working there too. Sometime shortly after they met or married, Buzz began working for Orgeon-Neveda-California Fast Freight. He drove the bobtail truck around town making deliveries. He was offered the job of making the long runs with the semi trucks, but didn't want to be gone from home that much. He took his retirement about 5 years early when they moved the plant to Mount Shasta, and he didn't want to transfer or make that drive every day. Won many safe driving awards.
