 Alton Glen had become an accomplished golfer after retiring from Kaiser Steel. He would golf up to three times a week with friends at the golfcourse located at Kennedy Park. After losing sight in his right eye after undergoing surgery to correct glaucoma, he was forced to give up the sport.
