Note: Henry Pope was the youngest son of Jesse and Mary (Fort) Pope.
Henry Pope moved to Hancock County, Georgia om 1786 from HalifaxCounty,North Carolina with his Father & Mother's family. In 1809 movedto Jones County, Georgia with his brother Jesse McKinne Pope, andlater moved to Monroe County, Georgia where he died in last past of1824. His estate papers 12-10-1824 to 1-6-1832. He may have had 8children in the family. Henry was the guardian of Jesse Evans 1807 inHancock County, Georgia.
His wife Susannah's last name may have been Evans.
