  At the time of Hubert's death his surviving children with his second wife Angelique Drouillard were Mrs. Henry Bouffard of Kansas City, Mrs. Richard DeLisle of Malden, Basil, Henry, Louis, Mrs. H.L.   In an article in the Amherstburg Echo, Just Folks by Eleanor Gignac, Oct. 26, 1988, Hubert is named Trustee for a new school to be built on the east end of the Pike Road.
  His obituary suggests that he moved to Colchester about 1848.
