Note: Sarah Alean Ward was left an orphan with the death of her mother. She went to live with Jacob W. and Maggie Grissom Quillen at age 8 and was adopted by them. Jacob was the son of a well known Baptist Minister David Quillen and the grandson of an even more well know Baptist Minister Elder Jacob Browning, who founded many Baptist Churches in West Tennessee.
