14625/1889 DICKSON ROBERT C JOHN JESSIE YASS (Jessie was used possibly as Janet's names as these names are often interchanged in Scotland)
No mention of wife, children - would need the death cert for this. (Now obtained, 2008.)

Note:   Robert's death certificate said that he was 20 when he married in Leith, Scotland. Next step is to obtain his marriage certificate. Oct 2008. He did not marry as the following message shows:
I am the great grandson of Robert Crowe Dickson and Sarah Ann Bean. They were not married. Sarah Ann Bean was married to a Samuel Highfield who was killed falling off the roof of a church near Mudgee NSW. They had a number of children. She then married a James Bosher in 1861 and had one child. The marriage did not work and then she met Robert Crowe Dickson with who she had two children Scott and Elizabeth (my Grand Mother). A lot of the Highfield kids took the Dickson name either as Dickson or Highfield Dickson.

The research for this family has been carried out by D. Sims and has been meticulously checked and rigorously interrogated by her. I consider it to be accurate but she prefers to leave the information in this format to enable future researchers to see how she arrived at her conclusions.
