George Quirin
Of Washington, D.C., formerly of 1416 1st Ave., died yesterday morning, after an extended illness, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Washington. He was born in Germany, May 27, 1878, a son of Peter and Caroline (Porta) Quirin, and married Anna C. Schraf, who died in 1956. Surviving are five children, Raymond and Mrs. Dorothy Odenwald of Washington, D.C., Gerald of Miami Springs, Fla., Robert of Carlisle and Sister Mary Benjamin,O.S.F., of Potsdam, N.Y.; three grandchildren,
and four brothers and sisters, Peter of Canton, Ohio, James and Mrs. Mary Schraf of Altoona and Mrs. Minnie Neff of St. Clair Shores, Mich. While in Altoona Mr. Quirin was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Knights of St. George. Friends will be received in the Stevens Mortuary from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday
