  Mrs. Mary Holland
  Of 835 Seventeenth street, widow of David A. Holland, died at her home at 10:45 o'clock Saturday evening after a short illness. She was born on April 1, 1859, at St. Augustine, Cambria County, a daughter of Michael and Anna (Adams) Barnicle. Her husband died on March 2, 1928. Surviving are eleven sons and daughters, Mrs. George Socie of Altoona, Charles F. Holland of Duncansville, Edward T., Mrs. Charles Quirin, Mrs. Edward Seidel, Leo D., Mrs. John J. skelley, Mrs. Florence Trexler, George R., and Mrs. Fred W. Frischkorn, all of Altoona, and Mrs. Dr. G.E. Gorganus of North Carolina; twenty-five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three brothers, Frank Barnicle of the city, John J. of Johnstown and Edward T. of Holidaysburg. Mrs. Holland was a member of Mt. Carmel Catholic church and of branch No. 675, L.C.B.A. Friends are being received at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Frischkorn, 2910 Pine avenue.
