a. Note:   Everett C. Froberg is listed as arriving in Boston on the "Fairfax" 11 December 1942 from Kagsiarsuk (now spelled Qassiarsuk), Greenland. He was 32, married, born 7/30/10 in Carlton, Minn. He gave his address as Carlton, Minn. The SS Fairfax had departed Greenland 17 November.
  Everett C. Froberg is listed in the 1944 Polk's Duluth city directory as "mach Marine Iron & Shipbldg Co r Carlton".

  The Pine Knot, Thursday, June 13, 1991:
  "Froberg. Everett C. Froberg, 80, Carlton, died Tues., June 4, 1991. He was born July 30, 1910 in Carlton. Everett was a 1930 graduate of Carlton High School. Everett worked at Carlton Motors. He worked for the Northern Pacific Railroad from 1940-1950's. In 1954, he began working as a custodian and bus driver for the Carlton school system, where he retired in 1975. He was a former member of the Carlton Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother [sic]. Everett is survived by his wife, Mary of Carlton; a daughter, Marian (Russell) Zinter of Ridgecrest, Calif.; one son, Jerry (Eunice) Froberg of Pasadena, Calif.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Raymond (Betty) Froberg of Minnetonka; and two sisters, June (Lewis) Thomas of Cloquet, and Edna Stillwell of Nopeming. Funeral services were held June 8, 1991, at 11 a.m. at J.M. Paine Memorial Presbyterian Church, Carlton, Minn. Rev. Randy Campbell officiated. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery, Carlton. Arrangements were by Barr Brothers Funeral Home, Cloquet."
