Cloquet, 76, died Mon., June 24, 1996, in her home. She was born Nov. 2, 1919, in Carlton, graduating from Carlton High School. On Aug. 31, 1940, she married Lewis J. Thomas in Grand Marais. She was a member of the Cloquet Presbyterian Church and active in the church circles. She was a former member of the Cloquet Community Memorial Hosptial Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, Conrad and Alma (Larson) Froberg; her husband, Lewis on May 2, 1996; one brother; and one sister. June is survived by three daughters, Gale Thomas of Cloquet, Jean (John) Ristau of Geneseo, Ill., and Janet (Neal) Schmutzler of Overland Park, Kan.; one brother, Raymond (Betty) Froberg of Waconia; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Visitation was from 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service Wed., June 26 in Cloquet Presbyterian Church. Rev. Henry Hanna officiated. Inurnment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cloquet. Arrangements were by Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet."
