  "Death End Several Years of Suffering For Carlton Lady.
  "Death came as relief to Mrs. Conrad Froberg at her home in Carlton, about 7:45 Tuesday evening this week. Mrs. Froberg had been ill of abdominal cancer for the past three years, had undergone several operations by expert surgeons, and had the best of hospital care, but they could not eradicate the dread malady.
  "Alma Charlotte Larson was born in Carlton on Aug. 12, 1892, thus being almost 42 years old. She was raised and went to school here, and had lived here all her life. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Larson, pioneer residents of this village. Her mother died many years ago and her father passed away a few years ago.
  "She was married to Conrad Froberg, in Carlton, in June, 1909 [sic]. Four children were born to them. The eldest is Everett, and the next Edna. Both of these are now married and living here. Edna is now Mrs. Arthur Stillwell. The other two are June and Raymond, at home. Her husband, 'Con' Froberg, died in 1931, also after a lingering illness from cancer. Besides the children, she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Axel Larson, of Atkinson.
  "Mrs. Froberg was a member of the Bethesda Lutheran church and also of the local Rebekah lodge. She always took an active part in lodge work when physically able to do so.
  "The funeral was held at 2 o'clock today from the Lutheran church here, with Rev. F. M. Eckman officiating, and interment in the Carlton cemetery. It was also under the auspices of Nicholson Rebekah lodge, the members attending the funeral in a body.
  "The Froberg family has many friends in Carlton, who will extend the most sincere sympathy to the sons and daughters in their sad loss."
