!HISTORY-NOTES-RELGION: no date, source: Sally BESS; NOTE: Sebo Grocery Store, close to Keifer OK, where HJ worked. Story was the store got its name from C R SEBO in 1910. The other story..Two hobos met at the store and one would say to the other,"What do you say BO?" according to Russell YARGER located on Creek-Tulsa Line oil camp from Glenpool to Keifer. Oil was discovered at Chelsia 1899- Muskogee to Bartlesville 1897- Red Fork in 1901- Glenpool field opened in 1905- made the world sit up and take notice. The Glen land was first drilled (and) called after the man who owned land there in 1905. HJ BESS attended the Free Holiness Church.

He had been ill for several years. Mr BESS had been a resident of OK since 1914 and had been active in Eastern OK oilfields for sometime.
