  Hepsibah (Hill) Poor said she was born in Craftsbury, Vermont, though no record was found. John Hill is mentioned in 'A Brief Sketch of the First Settlers of Craftsbury, Vermont,' as an early settler. It also says that he married Hepsibah Mason and they had no children. A Doroty Hill bought land in Craftsbury 28 Jan 1805, and sold it 4 July 1814. John bought and sold land several times between 1806 and 1811.
