Note: N39 sometimes called Mary 1839 Longworths American almanac, p. 133 Bullinger Henry, pilot 301 Monroe Bullinger Ensey widow of Charles, 36 Pell (on www.archive.org) 1850 census, Brooklyn, Kings Co., NY Richard Cook, age 30 Oscar Cook, age 2 Ansey Bullings, age 58 Josiah, age 30 Maria, age 23 Ansey, age 2 1875 NYS census, Brooklyn, Kings Co., NY in household of son-in-law and daughter, Oscar and Julia B. Oatman Els. (?) Bullinger, age 84, widowed, b. Suffolk Co. From the Bullinger message board on Ancestry.com (posted in 2001): Charles Owens Bullinger married Ensey Glover in 1813 or 1814 and lived in New York City until 1852. Her husband died in 1832. Her name appears in the New York City directory from 1813 to 1854 where she kept a boarding house in what is now lower New York. She was s devout Baptist. Some dear sweet relative many years ago traced the family tree but it is sketchy in some areas and difficult to follow in others. Ensey Glover's mother is Puah (Clark) who was married to ? Smith and had Violet & Orthniel, who were among the founders of Smithtown, L.I.. She became a widow then married Josiah Glover; from this marriage she had, Mary, Ensey (born in Brookhaven, L.I. in 1792) and Josiah. Josiah passed away and she married a man named Hawkins. "The descendants of this marriage are so numerous and properous that they have formed a corporation to which only the proven descendants of Puah Clark Hawkins are eligible. Puah is burried in Brookhaven. She lived on Long Island all during the Revolutionary War. Her allegiance and services were always on the side of the patriots." Please let me know where you go with this. If we are related I bet we could have a wing ding of a family reunion. I have a great Aunt Margie living in Long Beach, California, who is 104. Thank You
