Note: N9 father b. Scotland, mother b. Ireland (1900 census, Brooklyn, NY) Obituary from Hudson Register-Star, September 29, 1969 W. A. Campbell Of Kinderhook Is Dead At 82 KINDERHOOK--Walter A. Campbell, 82, died Saturday at his Broad Street home, where he had lived for two years. Campbell, a Columbia County resident for 30 years, formerly lived in Brooklyn, where he was a machinist and tool maker for Sperry Gyroscope. His wife was the late Isabelle Deguerre. Campbell was a member of Valatie Lodge, F. & A. M., and the Fireman�s Benevolent Association of Long Island. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Averell of Kinderhook; a son, Arthur Campbell, Sr., of St. Cloud, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Kraft and and Mrs. Kate Anderson of Massapequa; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services wil be held Wednesday morning at 11 in the Bond Funeral Home, Valatie, with the Reb. John VanderTuin, Pastor of the Kinderhook Reformed Church, officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Valatie. The funeral home will be open for relatives and friends Tuesday night from 7 to 9 p.m.
