Edwin C. Middleton was born August 11th 1858 at Marion Indiana. He departed his life Sept 19th 1921 at the age of 64 years 1 month and 7 days. He was united in marriage with Emma Mary Grant in the year 1880. To this union was born 15 children, 3 of which proceeded him in death.
He has left to morn the loss a wife and 12 children 2 brothers Oak Middleton, Will and Frank Middleton and nine grandchildren and a host of friends.
Mr. Middleton has been a life long member of Marion, being an electrician of the city. Helping to install the first lighting plant.
He gave his heart to God on the 9th day of June 1921. Since that time his whole ambition was to win souls to Christ.
His death was the triumph of many years and months of suffering. Surely we shall miss him but he has gone to be with Him who gave his life a ransom that we all might have everlasting life.
