Note: Source: Unless otherwise stated, information is from missionary records held at the American Board of Missions headquarters in Istanbul, Turkey. Born in a Canadian manse. Educated at Collingwood Collegiate Institute. Met husband while she was teaching school. During WWI, while husband was doing relief work, Mrs. MacCallum stayed in Canada with five children. Back in Istanbul, she ran the Mission Hostel until 1936. During time in India they lived in the Satara Mission House, Marathi Mission in Bombay. Henrietta's name is on a tombstone adjoining her husband's, but she is not buried in Istanbul. She went to America in September of 1955 and died in the Newton-Wellesley Hospital, Newton Tower Falls, near where she had been living in Auburndale, MA. She was 94.
