Note: N10 A letter from Fleetwood Albrecht indicates that parents, John Scott & Elizabeth Cotton were from New York, then moved to New Jersey, then to Osage, Missouri, then to gold-rush California, then to Texas to pioneer land just won from Mexico, & then on to Florida. They sent a marble slab for the Washington Monument from the MacFarland Farm in Texas (MacFarland was the husband of one of the Scott daughters). There is a David Randolph Scott (b. 6 Jun 1932 in San Antonio) who was an astronaut and commander of the Apollo 15 mission to the moon.
