Note: OBIT - The Post Standard (Syracuse, New York) May 10, 1952; Page 7. Service Monday for Dr. Renaud, Stricken at Camp Dr. J. Edward Renaud, 43, of 514 Turtle st., associate surgeon at St. Joseph's Hospital, and medical director of the Easy Washing Machine Corp., died suddenly early yesterday. He suffered a cerebral hemmorage at his camp in Constantina and was taken to St. Joseph's where he died at 5:40 a.m. Born in Syracuse, Dr, Renaud received his degree from Syracuse University College of Medicine in 1927. He interned at St. Joseph's from 1927 to 1928. On Sept. 12, 1933, he married Genevieve Rita O'Neill. They have three children: Helen Ann, 18; Genevieve Rita, 15; and Mary Jo Renaud, 13. Dr. Renaud was also assistant surgeon at Memorial Hospital and formerly taught surgery at the College of Medicine. He was a member of the Onondaga County Medical Society, the New York State Medical Society and the Syracuse Academy of Medicine. Dr. Renaud was a member of the St. Mary's Men's Club, the Holy Name Society of St. John the Baptist Church, the Liederkranz, the Pastime Club, and was formerly associated with the Syracuse Free Dispensary, Elmcrest Childrens Center, the House of Providence, and was director of Millbank School. The family said he was stricken after he told his wife he had a sever headache. He was attended by a doctor from Cleveland and brought by ambulance to Syracuse. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Anne Renaud. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Monday at 514 Turtle st., and at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse, New York. Dr. Renaud's Will Filed for Probate The will of Dr. J. Edward Renaud, who died May 9, was filed for probate yesterday in the office of Surrogate Charles R. Milford, Jr. Value of the estate was listed as unknown. Dr. Renaud's stepmother, Mrs. Anna Renaud of 117 Carbon st., is bequeathed the Carbon st. property and $1,000 in cash. The widow, Mrs. Genevieve Renaud of 514 Turtle st., will receive his personal property and a $2,500 cash bequest. The residue of the estate is placed in trust for the widow and three daughters, Helen Ann, Genevieve Rita, and Mary Jo, all of the Turtle st. address.
