a. Note:   She might be the daughter of Andrew McWain, who was born in 1742 in Bolton, Worcester Co., MA. He moved to Putney, Windham Co., VT in 1778. He later moved to Woodstock, VT. In 1775, he served with Capt. Benjamin Hasting's Company in Col. Asa Whitcomb's Regiment of Massachusetts troops. He was stationed near Prospect Hill near Boston. He was a Revolutionary War pensioner. He died in 1837 in West Woodstock, Windsor Co., VT, and is buried in Shaw Cemetery there.
