 George AUSTIN to Archelaus BIXBY: This indenture made the seventh day of January one thousand eight hundred and forty-six, between George Austin Junior of Brandon in the County of Franklin and state of Yew York of the first part, and Archalaus Bixby of Townshend, Windham County and state of Vermont of the second part... that the said party of the first part, in consideration of the sum of sixty-one dollars, ... does grant sell and quit claim to the said party of the second part ... all of that lot of land lying the Northerly part of the town of Townshend County of Windham and State of Vermont, being the farm formerly owned by Daniel Barnes and bounded as follows ... containing thirty acres more or less with the appurtenances ...
