Note: (Pedigrees of Some of the Emperor Charlemagne's Descendants volume 1) She was abbess of Ramsey in Hampshire until 1160, when she was forcibly abducted from the convent and married by Matthew. She separated from her husband and resumed a conventual life in 1169 at St. Austrebert, near Montreuil, France, where she once more took the veil as a nun.
